Test Purpose & Core Standards

The Modeled Long Wire (Long Wire) Measurement confirms the critical conductivity and grounding integrity of a metallic test table used in automotive EMC measurements.

This test ensures your Absorber Lined Shielded Enclosure (ALSE), which is lined with ferrite and other radio frequency absorbing materials, provides a reliable and compliant environment for vehicle component testing.

Primary Test Standard

  • Our Long Wire measurements are taken in accordance with the methods described in CISPR 25 (most current) Annex I –– ALSE performance validation from 150 kHz to 1.0 GHz.
Long wire test configuration with biconical antenna for automotive EMC measurement, 30 MHz to 200 MHz.
